Hello to everyone. I inserted .gif picture to my drawing file. Is it possible to insert the picture into the file that when I open the dwg file on other pc, it doesn't need gif picture from my hard drive? I want to copy dwg ( Do I have to copy all the pictures too?)to the CD and print it in a copy store.I don't know if I was clear enough. Thank you very much.

Yes, but you have to use "insert OLE Object" instead of "Insert Raster Image". With this procedure you don't need to send or store your images with the drawing.

Using "Insert Raster Image" you have to create a folder that contains your drawing and the images files you have inserted in it before storing or sending to someone else.

Yes, you need to get the image if you want it to display in the CAD drawing. No other way around it.
