Croweyes1121 Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Have a (hopefully) simple issue here. I have OSNAPZ set to 1. When I orbit around a 3D drawing, I can snap anywhere I want, in any view. But the moment I select a snap point to begin a line, it's as if OSNAPZ gets automatically set to 0 and I can only snap to somewhere on a flat plane. In short, I can't snap to two random points on two different elevations. I swear I used to be able to do this. Any help? Quote
Croweyes1121 Posted March 22, 2019 Author Posted March 22, 2019 (edited) Solved my own issue. To draw a line between two random points in 3D, I had to realign the UCS each time. Pretty much the same way I'd draw a rotated dimension. UCS, pick start point of the line I want to draw, then pick endpoint, hit enter to accept, then draw the line. Repeat for each line. Works great. Edited March 22, 2019 by Croweyes1121 Quote
