paulhea
Hi All, What would be the best software to model up the attached masonry unit? P
f700es
Here's an older one for Form Z but it should apply to just about ANY 3D program that can do similar commands (revolve, loft, sweep, bend, etc..). ftp://ftp.formz.com/pub/formz/PDF_files/tutorials/version_8/column.pdf I don't think Form Z Free (missing a few tools) or SketchUp could do it without a lot of extra work. AutoCAD might be able to do it. I am sure a subdivision modeler like Max, Maya or even Blender could do it. Fusion 360 might be able to do it. Moi 3D and Rhino would work well as well. Here's the compressed PDF from the link above. column-compressed.pdf
