Pukenzz Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 In my lisp, I'm trying to input the paper size from my plotter... 18"x24" (ARCH C) It keeps taking the " mark after the 18 as an input When I change it to 18\"x24\" (ARCH C) it gives me the same problem. Any other suggestions on how to be able to use the inch mark in my lisp? Thank you Quote
Lee Mac Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) Escaping the double-quotes using a single backslash escape character will cause the double-quotes to appear in the string (as opposed to being interpreted as string delimiters). Hence, you should use: "18\"x24\" (ARCH C)" Edited May 2, 2019 by Lee Mac Quote
Pukenzz Posted May 2, 2019 Author Posted May 2, 2019 Thanks Lee... I did have the " before and after. It's still hanging up. What about the Chr 34 string. Would it work for this? This is what I need to get enter "18"x24" (ARCH C)" but it doesn't like the " after 18 and after 24 Quote

BIGAL Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Are you using strcat or trying to write as implied which doesnt work. Quote
