E Transmitting from C3D to 2004

I noticed that when I etransmit a C3D 2009 file containing C3D objects into a 2004 .dwg format, all the C3D objects such as notes or pipes and profiles are not present or are present but no longer aligned as they used to in the original file.

Is there a way to properly etransmit a file that is in C3D 2009 format to someone who has a previous version of AutCAD in order for them to see all the Civil objects in an exploded way or in a manner that is suitable form them to work with?

Thank you

Well it is actually, a file containing xrefs, the reason why I am using the etransmit command because if I use the export, I don't think the xrefs will follow.

Haven't seen that issue before. Does it happen with all etransmits from various projects?

You might try exploding the c3d objects first (be sure to either save a backup copy prior, or just don't save after you do it), then etransmit to see if you get the same result.

Well this is the step I would like to skip, exploding the Civil Objects as it represents sometimes a lot of time lost when it is a big drawing/project. I think the same thing occurs to all the drawings. After having exploded the Civil objects prior to etransmit, the problem doesn't occur since all Civil Objects are turned into AutoCAD objects.
