Draw perpendicular lines relative to the previous one and so on.

I have seen some routines that from selecting a line, the UCS is changed to allow drawing lines perpendicular to the previously selected line.
However, I either didn't see it all, or couldn't find the solution to what I want and that is: Draw any line, at any angle, and the next line starts at the end point of the previous one but already at a perpendicular angle to the line. above and so on with respect to all subsequent lines to the desired polygon.

At the end of the polygon the UCS should remain in normal mode.

Sure, I can do that by changing UCS relative to the object, but the way I describe it will be more automated.

I hope the description is not confusing.

Thanks.

Set up Polar Tracking so that the Polar Angle measurement is 'Relative to last segment', and there you are!

Thanks. Yes, it does, but not as functionally as I want as it requires on / off.

Why turn it on and off?

It must be the type of drawings I do, but I have Polar tracking turned on the whole time. Am I doing it wrong?

Same here, I haven't any problems in all these years.😲
