Edit Custom Property Files AFTER creation?

Recommended Posts

How do I edit one of the following after creation:

.prtprp for parts

.asmprp for assemblies

.drwprp for drawings

I have created all three and now I want to modify each one once more

but see no way to do that once the file is saved and closed out.

I want to add two more fields and rename one of the fields

that are displayed in the Custom Properties Tab

I want to edit the existing file inside the Property Builder

Are you modfying the template file or, are you creating a new .prtprp file and modifying the Tab Builder?

If you look on your Windows  start menu you will find the property tab builder (under SolidWorks), that allows you to open and edit your tab files, is that what you are after?
