Insert block from pull down menu

Recommended Posts

sketch11

I have a pull down menu which is created from an MNU file and loaded via a script file.

Each menu item inserts drawing objects from a particular source drawing file. The drawing objects contain block/s within.

The issue: When I change the block in the new drawing, it seems to carry over into the source drawing.

Is there a way to definitively break the relationship between blocks?

If I understand correctly your new insert contains nested blocks, so insert at 0,0 1 1 0 then explode, it should then release all the nested blocks and the original block can be purged.

@BIGAL, yes I was aware of this. I was wondering is there was a setting or command which made this possible without exploding.
