dbroada Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 this should only happen when AutoCAD can't find a shape file specified in a drawing it is opening. It could be you have a font set in your template that AutoCAD can't find or a linetype definition in a drawing supplied by somebody who didn't give you the specified file. If it is a supplied drawing you need to ask the supplier for the shape file. If it is in your template you need to find what object is asking for the shape file and modify it or delete it. Quote
Lee Mac Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I would suggest try opening a new drawing and see if it comes up, and a standard ACAD template and see if the message comes up - to check whether it is in your template or not. Quote
