Split Table between sheets? ie: Long table on multiple sheets?

Recommended Posts

Vanilla Autocad 2020.

I have split a table and want to move the "second table" to another sheet.

Is this possible?

Could someone please explain the process?

Any best options for splitting a long table across multiple sheets?

Also, is dragging the bottom caret at the table the only way to split the table?

Inventor allows you to pick a line in the table, RMB and pick Table Split.

Didn't know if Autocad has a similar option..

Thank you!

Using viewports?

Is that the only way to split a table across multiple sheets?

That's the only way I can think to do it without the risk of overlooking rows (by creating a separate table on each sheet).

I think the viewport option will have to do.

Come on Autodesk!

If you can split a table and move it easily in Inventor

It's not unthinkable to add the same functionality into Autocad!

You want like excel hide option but effective only in a viewport and can be different per viewport. It takes seconds to make a view port and viewports can sit on top of each other.
