Unable to enter Line coordinates for POB line in Oleson project

Hi, I am unable to enter coordinates using line command while trying to do the Oleson Village project in autocad. It says Point or option keyword required. I have disabled orthomode, tried disabling snap mode too. I also referred cad tutor link to enter coordinates. But this is the basic line command that I enter for drawing the POB line. I have always managed to score very good for this course and found my way to solve problems on my own in autocad projects in this course. I am stuck here and i feel bad its for entering a simple coordinate, i wonder how complicated the rest of the project is.

I already created the layers, text styles, , and i followed help from here (Thank you !) for creating the rectangle, and the reference line and now i need to draw the POB line and after i use osnap to start the POB line, i need to enter the next point for the Line command to draw POB ,it says "Point or option keyword required". Please help.

It could be as simple as turning DYNMODE off.  Use the Icon at the bottom of the screen to toggle it off or type DYNMODE and set to off or O.

Or perhaps you need help with the format for survey coordinates?  Something like

@12'-5<n35d41'30"E

The @12'5 being the length, and < for angle with 35d41'30", d for degrees, ' for minutes, " for seconds.
