How to calculate the total area of all polylines or all hatches?

For me is difficult to calculate the area of polylines or hatches one by one in Autocad 2008 .

If your polyline is closed you can determine its area by command LIST.

Check the CAD Tips section of cadalyst magazine. I thought I just saw a lisp routine that will calculate the total area of all selected objects.

Someone else did all the writing. All you have to do is know how to load it. See the link posted above for instructions.
