I had a serial number from a friend and we tried it on my laptop first it was a permanent license and we used it on my device for a while, I then bought my own serial number and wanted to change to that so i opened the manage license tab and updated the serial number to the new one it then said that the device license is a student version and has an expiration date. Keep in mind that, before i changed the serial number to the new one i bought, i had downloaded the student version of Revit on my device. Could the device license change to student version because of that or do i need to uninstall the program then reinstall it to change the license ? or is there another way to change serial numbers and the way i did was wrong ?
