SolidWorks Composer Alternative

For those of you who are using, or looking at using, SolidWorks Composer, you may want to check out cadasio which aims to revolutionise the creation, presentation and delivery of product documentation.

We have a SolidWorks addin that allows you to create cadasio projects straight from inside SolidWorks.  When using cadasio your files can then be manipulated to create animated step by step assembly instructions which can be published online. End users can access instructions via a web link, by scanning a QR code generated by cadasio or by embedding them into your own webpage.

This offers numerous advantages as not only does cadasio allow them to quickly repurpose existing files, it allows for quicker design and creation of technical communication. This is vital in reducing the time to market for new products and reducing printing costs, helping become more sustainable.

Using the SolidWorks addin you can update your cadasio projects when your design changes, saving alot of rework time and, better yet, when you update cadasio projects, the changes can be reflected instantly online to your end users.

You wont need an expensive CAD computer to run cadasio as it runs within your browser, and we have aimed to make it as user friendly as possible, so would expect people up and running within an hour - meaning no expensive training courses that you have to attend taking up your valuable time.

There is a free plan for those looking to try the software out, with an extremely competitively priced Professional version which will generally work out cheaper than the maintenance cost alone of SolidWorks Composer.
