Jonathan Handojo Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Hi folks, This may seem like a dumb question, but I don't know how to solve it... Using LAYTHAW thaws every possible layer, but when I want to thaw only some specific layers (perhaps from a list obtained in LISP), it turns out to be very slow... It could be hundreds of layers. Is there some sort of way to surpress this regeneration much like the RegenerateTableSurpressed feature for tables, and then regenerates the whole drawing at once after the LISP finished processing all the layers? Thanks, Jonathan Handojo Quote
rlx Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 a dumb question is a question for which you already know the answer , so if you don't know its a smart question :-) have a look here : https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/stop-screen-regen-in-autocad-2018/td-p/7011550 regenmode / regenauto are the variables you're looking for and something about 'disabling smoothing, fading and turning off hardware acceleration' cheers Quote
Jonathan Handojo Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 Thanks for that rlx. I'll try that out Quote
