Hi,

I have facing some problems with the autoCAD title block setting.

I have design a new title block to replace the existing title block two days ago.  (PS//The font type have CHANGE)

But when I try to insert the new title blocks into the existing drawing, it just appear with the font type which

I'm using before and the font even out of my title block.

I have try to RESET the font type  before insert the new title block, but it still nothing to change.

If anyone can provide me with a better solution, I would like to thank yo in advance. 🙏

Did you run the PURGE command to remove the old title block from the drawing before inserting the new title block?

We updated numerous dwgs when we changed the title block a office address change and logo change, just inserted the new one from another dwg, did a redefine yes and a Attsync as we did not add/remove/rename attributes, all done was same name. I do admit though not sure about fonts. Is this what was required ?

Also, check your Textstyle. If the old title block was using a Textstyle called "Whatever" with font set to romans and the new title block is using a Textstyle called "Whatever" with font set to arial, the new title block will assume the old Textstyle that's already set up in the drawing. Simply change the Textstyle to arial and that should solve the problem. Or delete the textstyle before inserting the new title block.

Like BIGAL, sounds like you need to use ATTSYNC.

This is the first thing I would check. The attributes in a block don't automatically change in instances that are already present in the drawing.

The ATTSYNC command will update every one of your blocks to the latest block definition. If you want to change individual blocks, use the ATTEDIT command or double-click on an attribute (which starts ATTEDIT).

You could just post the drawing and the blocks.
