skfarkowsky Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Hi all I’m having problems recently with my Civil 3D 2008 at work. Few days ago we had problems with the licence manager and since then something is wrong. Most of the time I use Auto Cad classic, but sometimes I need Civil. But when I try to start Civil I get the same options as for Classic (picture a). When I am in AutoCad Classic and try to save as… or open a new drawing I don’t get a pop up window as usually but text in the command line (picture b,c) Does anybody know what happened and could give me some advice please. Thank you very much Peter Quote
Bmapper Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Try the "filedia" command, and set it to 1. Somehow it gets set to '0'. Usually the culprit is a lisp routine that sets it to '0', but then gets interrupted before it sets it back. As for why your civil space looks like the classic, I'm not sure. Quote
skfarkowsky Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Wow cool, thanks a lot. One problem solved Quote
rustysilo Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 You should have all of the workspaces available. If they are not in your dropdown list on the workspaces toolbar (see attached) then something must have got botched. I am not sure if this can be restored somehow other than reinstalling. Quote
lpseifert Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Be sure you're opening 'Autocad Civil 3D 2008' and not 'Civil 3D as Autocad 2008'. Quote
skfarkowsky Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Unfortunately I don't have it but I used to. Everything is ok on my PC at home. But with this network version at work always is something wrong. Must be something wrong with my profile Thanks Quote
