nscherneck
Just got dinged with some plan check revisions. An absurd amount for how small the system is. Anyways, The city plan checkers are asking me to provide a velocity calculation for the seven duct-smoke detectors. Ive never done a velocity calculation, have any of you? tzframpton
Should be able to get with the HVAC/Mechanical contractor to get that info. ask for the Engineer of the job... that's their job to provide that type of calculation.
nscherneck
I thought ide get a response from you on this one Styk. Thank you. I figured it was more appropriate for the mechanical engineer to provide this calculation. We are not even providing the duct smoke detectors for this project, the mechanical contractor is. Again, thank you.
