Dear all,

In my model 3D solid have many layers. When I used the command '' FLATSHOT'' to make a 2D arrangement drawing. I want to make this command that all original layers will be kept. For example, in my model have 3 parts, each part will be one layer then I will FLATSHOT command. The 2D drawing will be layer similar vs layer in 3D model. Someone can help me a lisp to make it.

Thank all

Make a copy of what you want to flatten.

switch to the view you want to see the flatten object. (top, sides, ortho)

Use flatten and overkill command on copied object.

command SECTIONPLANE

"T"  for type

"S" for slice

"O" for Orthographic

"T" for top

while livesection is on, select the sectionplane just created, a section tab should appear, there go up the slices until surpassing the highest point of your solids and in the slice widht put a number that can enclose all solids (for expla the highest cube in the example above is 100m tall, you put 150

now you have a slice the whole solid thick.

now click "generate section block"

in section settings, go to background lines:  show:yes

color: Bylayer

layer: go all the way up until *layerByObject*_backgroundlines   shows up and select it.

now "OK" and "Create"
