scubadoo Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Hello, I need to change the line end style to a squared/straight end rather than the rounded one. I used to know how to do this in Autocad map 3D 2000 but can't in Map 3D 2006. Is it in the plot style manager and if so how do i do it for all plot styles? Thanks in advance. Dave Quote
Norts Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 refer to STYLESMANAGER in AutoCAD help file Quote
scubadoo Posted August 13, 2007 Author Posted August 13, 2007 Thanks, But is there a way of doing it globally without having to change each plot style? Quote
scubadoo Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 i think that's the same thing though, and I have to change the end style for each colour in each plot style. Is there a way to set the line end style for every line in every plot? It would seem strange if you can't. Quote
Guest Alan Cullen Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Okay....I'll play dumb.....what is/are line end styles ???? Quote
scubadoo Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 it's just how the end of a line appears, whether it is a butt end, rounded or squared. I think it only matters when you have heavy lineweights, 0.5 or higher, as when it's rounded it protrudes beyond a line that it meets. Does that make sense? Quote
Guest Alan Cullen Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Now I understand perfectly, thanks.....can't help you though.....I use line colours for line weights...... You could also try line colours.....and in the .ctb file state there what type of end you want...... Quote
PlayPipe Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Open "Plot Style Table Editor" and select "Form View" tab. Highlight / Select the plot styles in the left window using the Shift or Ctrl key to select a range or individually select the ones to change in mass.. (same as in windows) Then use the arrow buttons in the properties window to select your property style. Done! Question? Why is help of No help? Quote
