richard3009 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Currently using EN 60617/2 :1996 When I check out the standards website it is now shown a s withdrawn, what standards are now being used. And can the electrical block libraries be obtained without me drawing them out. Thank you in advance Quote
dbroada Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I think that has been replaced by BS8888, at least in the UK. Of course a BS number should have been replaced by a similar EN one but we don't have that. You can get the symbols from BS on a cd but at their prices, unless you have A LOT to draw, it is probably cheaper to draw them yourself. Quote

There does not appear to be any new BS or equivalent. Is your copy of EN60617 a pdf? Just thinking it could be useful. Quote
Tankman Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 You might download, free, electrical symbols from draftsperson.net. http://www.draftsperson.net/index.php?title=Electrical_Symbols_-_Free_AutoCAD_Blocks Quote
