Creating block with editable fields

How do I create a block that has fields where I can input and edit text within, IE a set of terminal blocks with wiring numbers, or a pushbutton with numbered terminals.

 

I have edited drawings that contain them, by double clicking the block which opens the editor, but how are these special blocks created, some have loads of fields attached.

Make an attribute(s) using Attdef, and include the attribute(s) in a block.
