Blocks saving slowly in block editor and file saving also being slow

I'm having a couple of minutes waiting time in trying to save blocks in my Cad LT 2020 program at the moment. Never really experienced it being this slow before.

I've checked he memory on my machine and seems ok (sufficient space on storage). 

Any thoughts please would be helpful.

Only time I've ever had that issue was with saving on a network.
