rcb007 Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 How would you go about searching for a keyword in a file name (in a certain location) then open the file explorer to list the search results? Basically, in autocad it would prompt a question (What keyword are you looking for?) User could type in Help. Then, it would open a file explorer in (C:\Test Files\) and show the search results of all the (*Help*) files. Hopefully, that is not to confusing. Thank you for any ideas how to do this. I am at a lost. Quote
ronjonp Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Why not use the search bar built into Windows Explorer ? Quote
rcb007 Posted August 16, 2022 Author Posted August 16, 2022 I currently do that now. I run this, then in the search bar I type in what I am looking for. (startapp "explorer" (strcat "/e, C:\\Test Files")) Quote
