I am having problems with one of my sheet sets. I can open and publish every drawing but I can not edit the Sheet Set Manager or anything else in the Sheet Set Manager. The Pad-Lock says it's locked by me but I do not remember locking the sheet set. I have goggled and tried to look for information for the last hour and can not find anything that can help me.

Please if anyone can help me to understand why this happen and how I can fix it I would be really thankful. This recently just happened to one of the engineers that works in the same office as me also. So two different projects with two different computers.

Attached is a PDF of what I am talking about.

If the file is open, then it will show a padlock.

File is not open at all. It still shows as locked by a user that is totally logged off his computer.

We work off of a Network drive so the only other thing I could think of at the moment is that something is going wrong with the server the files are stored on.

Did you ever figure it out. We are having the same problem with one of our work stations. Below is the response from Autodesk:

"I understand your sheet set is locked.

Using Windows Explorer, browse to the folder where the sheet set file (.DST) is stored and look for a .DBL lock file. You can right-click the .DBL file and click Properties to see who owns it. That user could then close the sheet set manager as well as AutoCAD. Then they can delete the .DBL file on their end.

Once that is done, the sheet set should be unlocked."

I couldn't find a .dst file on the server or any of the workstations, so this didn't help us, but it might help you.

Yes, I did get it solved. I believe our server was the problem. We rebooted our server and they unlocked. It seems like some how the server kept these files open for some reason. So it turned out to be a server problem.
