how can I lighten the file

I created a dwg file with a Model and 10 tables in the layout paper space, now when I go to the layout the drawing is heavy and therefore very slow, I use autocad 2019, how can I lighten the file? Thank you

Could be a lot of reasons, if you can upload the file we can look and see what the reason might be but tips could be:

 

Purge the file (several times)

Audit it

 

If that still causes problems select everything (top right to bottom left selection, not the other way) and copy to a new file or wblock it all to a new file and try that - usually catches most things and then purge again. That doesn't solve what caused the problems in the first place though
