ReMark Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 So your firm drew up the titleblock and border and someone else was responsible for the actual drawing itself? The drawing should be in model space right? What about the titleblock and border? Is it in model space or paper space? Quote
muhammad Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 actually, big drawings creating difficulty to adjust the standard scale 1:1250 A1 size , we don't want to cut / divid the the drawings into two drawings, we must make the only one drawing which scale should be 1:1250 A1 size. muhammad Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 1, we are responsible for actual drawing also 2, yes, the drawing in model space and we have to adjust in layout A1 size 3, title block and border also create problem in adjustment 4, paper space, it create problem in adjusting the layout A1 size Regards Muhammad Quote
ReMark Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Assuming the objects in model space have been drawn full size you enter paper space and using Page Setup Manager determine the sheet size you'll be plotting to. Once you have done that make a new layer called Vport and on this layer create a single viewport. The viewport is the window through which you look back into model space and see the objects you have drawn there. It is the viewport that is scaled and NOT the objects in model space. Do you understand the concept? Have you used paper space and viewports? There should be no problem in adjustment with your title block and border IF you drew it full size in paper space. Anything positioned within the dashed lines on your layout will be plotted. You plot from paper space at a scale of 1:1. Quote
