ReMark Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 It's like pulling teeth. Here is a link to get you started: http://www.afralisp.net/vbaa/vbatutor.htm Quote
ReMark Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 A book might be useful too. Here's one called Using Visual Basic with AutoCAD 2000 by Andrew G. Roe. Don't mind the version it references...the principles haven't changed much. http://www.amazon.com/Using-Visual-AutoCAD-Autodesks-Programmer/dp/0766820912 Quote
ReMark Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Another good source of information can be found at the AUGI website (membership is free). Look under the heading Education for the section called AU Class Handouts (AU = AutoDesk University). Specifically check Year: 2005 Industry: Customization & Programming. Find and read Phil Kreiker's paper entitled "An Overview of VBA in AutoCAD 2006". A fundamental primer for those who wish to gain more knowledge of the subject. Quote
ReMark Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Two other sources of information are... The AutoDesk main website. Type "visual basic" in the Search box and it will return 368 results one of which is the Developer Center. And then there are the AutoDesk Discussion Groups. The one you would be interested in is called Visual Basic Customization. Among the many threads is one called "Tutorial for VBA Developers...". Put a little more effort into it. Remember... Seek and ye shall find. Quote
