charlie72 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Hi I am trying to get a flat shot of a 3D Model while in isometric progection, but it seems to take on a different angle when i insert the flat shot just beside the 3D model. Taking a flat shot in plan view presents no problen at all. Any help would be much appreciated. Quote
Guest Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I have never used FLATSHOT before, but if its like the solview/soldraw commands, you may need to set your UCS current to your view to get the results you want. Quote
charlie72 Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Yes that did it. I applied the view ucs commad to the isometric view and that gave me a proper flat shot. Many thanks. Quote

Just take the flatshot object and paste it beside the 3D object, it will not look like the proper angle coz you're viewing the Flat isometric view of the object just generated in a 3D Isometric View. Take the flatshot, paste it, then go Views>Plan. That got me confused too the first time I used it Quote
