Andy0902 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 ...between a standard/normal style or the calligraphy style? Does the calligraphy style mean anything or is it just personal preference as to which looks best? Andy Quote
ReMark Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Normal style uses a single lineweight for the arcs. Calligraphy style assigns the arcs a variable lineweight from thin to thick (left to right). It's all a matter of personal taste. Quote
Andy0902 Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Calligraphy style does look better but i was unsure wether to use it incase it meant something i didnt know. Quote
kool130 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I think you MUST consider Client Cad Standard (if they have one)and Company CAD Standard...then personal taste. lol .... peace out Quote
ReMark Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 The calligraphy style just calls attention to itself a bit more. However, this can be done in normal style too just by assigning a constant width (like a polyline) to the cloud. Then it will stand out with no problem. Most clients don't give two hoots about what the "cloud" looks like. Why? Because it is a cloud. It's so different from almost everything else on the drawing (with the exception of a treeline) that it is immediately noticeable. Quote
