Dynamic block Looses dynamic properties when inserted

I was making 20 similar dynamic block, and they all seemed to work in test mode. However, when inserted into a drawing, only some would retain the dynamic properties I had given them. Does anyone know, what I am doing wrong? [exploding does not help]

perhaps there is allready a block with the same name in the drawing that doesn't have the same properties?  

Purge your drawing of any blocks (or at least one with the same name) or rename that block you are trying to insert and try again.

If they are something you want to use all the time think about using a DWT ie dwg template it contains all the things you need but is a blank dwg, but contains layers, linetypes and blocks. Ours 250 layers similar number of blocks around 100 linetypes. Bring other dwg's into it not the other way around.

When you bring in the block to your drawing, if you explode it once, does the dynamic grips show up?

They might be nested...
