Niels Olsen Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) I was making 20 similar dynamic block, and they all seemed to work in test mode. However, when inserted into a drawing, only some would retain the dynamic properties I had given them. Does anyone know, what I am doing wrong? OMEGA-ThundeR Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 (edited) perhaps there is allready a block with the same name in the drawing that doesn't have the same properties? Purge your drawing of any blocks (or at least one with the same name) or rename that block you are trying to insert and try again. Edited September 22, 2023 by OMEGA-ThundeR Quote
BIGAL Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 (edited) If they are something you want to use all the time think about using a DWT ie dwg template it contains all the things you need but is a blank dwg, but contains layers, linetypes and blocks. Ours 250 layers similar number of blocks around 100 linetypes. Bring other dwg's into it not the other way around. Edited September 23, 2023 by BIGAL Quote
troggarf Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 When you bring in the block to your drawing, if you explode it once, does the dynamic grips show up? They might be nested... Quote
