I need Lisp AutoCAD to merge a group of adjacent dimensions into one dimension that represents the overall dimension in one step.

Assume a LISP called MergeDims to merge dims:

"Dimlinear" click click, select 3 dimes, "Delete" - job done

"MergeDims" click click click - job done

Not sure if you are making much of a time saving or accuracy improvement from the sketch above with a LISP

Just use Dimaligned and pick start and end points. Note this is not actual true length. Could do a  5.4930 (5.503) which shows both.
