basty Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 (edited) Why my object become block after using polar array command in AutoCAD 2014 and they are unite like I'm using the union command? And, I can't use fillet command. The error message is: "Fillet requires 2 lines, arcs, or circles (not block references)." Thanks Edited November 28, 2023 by basty Quote
CyberAngel Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Without knowing more about your situation, I can only guess what's happened. When you use the polar array command, you create an array. It is one object. Not a block, not a union, an array. The Properties window will tell you so. Quote
ReMark Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 If you want to separate an array of objects use the Explode command. Quote
basty Posted November 29, 2023 Author Posted November 29, 2023 Please take a look at the attached .dwg file. The red one is the profile that has been polar arrayed. The blue one is the profile that hasn't polar arrayed and union yet. You might try to polar array the blue one to 20 and see what happen. My_Oil_Ring.dwg Quote
