the ber
i think it would be a lot easier to use excel or open office calc. if you really need to do a lot of wiring plans, then a program like eplan would be better.
Strix
what points does eplan score over AutoCAD Electrical? I dunno if it's because I cut my teeth on AutoCAD in an electrical environment, but I really wasn't keen on eplan
the ber
i must admit that i have no experience with acad electrical. the electrical plans that we get here where i work (in germany) are practically all made with eplan.
BruceLei
There are many points to be considered with EPLAN from what i've seen so far. ACADE is nice but it sits on a mechanical platform. EPLAN seems to be more of a Electrical tool at the core... (since 1984). In germany they use it alot...and lets face it those Germans make good products. (I love my Audi S4...lolll8)). Xrefs seem to work like a charm.... that's one of my peeves in ACAD.
