Updating multiple text boxes

I am currently using Autocad Electrical 2008.

 

I want to create a block with multiple displays of the same text. The goal of this is to update multiple displays of a text by changing one of them.

 

I am not set on using blocks if there is another feature which can perform a similar function.

Type you text first and make it a block and copy that block on other places that you need so you have same text as you said. Now if you change one of then and save changes to the block they all change.

You could also try Find/Replace
