ChybaKpisz Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 (edited) Hi. I am looking for lisp working like EXTRIM but can do even more. - I want to choose many poligons - sometimes polygons overlapping partially - objects outside the poligons need to be trimmed and erased. Leave only what's inside the closed boundaries. Is there anything like this? Edited February 2, 2024 by ChybaKpisz Quote
BIGAL Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Extrim is usually pretty good but could try Cookiecutter. CookieCutter2_v1.0.lsp Quote

marko_ribar Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 (edited) You can try BreakObjects.lsp in combination with flashpoly.lsp to get totalboundary - red shape... Then apply EXTRIM and pick point outside, but not sure for many entities as boundaries... Still it's alternative that is tested as working... https://www.cadtutor.net/forum/files/file/51-breakobjectslsp/ Edited February 5, 2024 by marko_ribar Quote
marko_ribar Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Another approach : segment your boundaries as much as possible so that no curves could be visible... Then use WIPEOUT command at each polygon and there you are... If you need simplification, make small routine that will ask for selection (ssget) and then process each entity individualy - result should be the same... Quote
