Attributes in Blocks

I am creating blocks with attributes but when used the attributes are out of the intended order. How can I specify which attributes are listed first, second, third, etc?

 

I am running AutoCAD 2004 full version, on Dell Vostro 400 Core2 Duo.

In addition to that, when creating the block the order you select the attributes determines the order in the attribute dialog.

Very true...and TAG entry should be UNIQUE for direct editing of the text, in case you have multiple text.

Sorry for asking a noob question, but can someone please explain what the Op means when he says that the blocks are out of order thanks.

If you have the right click command active.

 

Select any attribute in block editor, (click once)

Right click to bring up shortcut menu.

select attribute order. (halfway down list)

I assume that the OP means that when he doubleclicks the attributed block, the attributes are not displayed in the same order in the dialogue box that comes up as in the actual block.
