flowerrobot Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Howdy. Im not entirely sure what these things are called so my search was dampened. How do you remove or stop the the center doint dot from dimesions, (the one on defpoints) from acting as a valid point. IF you create an arc with a Radius or 300000, but the length is quite short, and place a radius dim on it, the dimension places a dot on the center point , which happens to be very far away from ever thing eles, so when you "zoom extense" the drawing become very small. because of this dot, and saddly my defult printing settings are set to extense so. how can i negote this? Also. again i dont know the correct description, but the top bar of autocad, the one that says for eg. "Autocad Mechanical 2009 (dwg name)" How can i make that say "Autocad Mechanical 2009 (location) (dwg name)" etc > drawing1.dwg to > c:\destop/drawing1.dwg thank you for you help Quote
CarlB Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 If you freeze the "defpoints" layer dot should be gone, & ignored in "extents". Quote
eldon Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Of course, if you can't find anything else that works, you could explode the dimension. Quote
