thanhan1983 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Hello everybody! I have some troubles when use Leaders on my drawing. The Leaders are usually cut the dimension or other objects. Im used to solve them by using a leader and a polyline, but that is an unprofessional way. I don't know how to break the Leader without using polyline like I have done before. If you have any solution to solve, please help me bacause that is really useful with me as well as who meet this trouble as me. Thank you in advanced! Thanh An, Quote
ReMark Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Explode the leader then use the Break command to create the gap. Quote

lpseifert Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 If you use an Mleader, you can use the Dimbreak command Quote
ReMark Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 DIMBREAK: "Breaks or restores dimension and extension lines where they cross other objects." I don't see where this applies to the leader itself. Maybe I am misunderstanding the OP's question. I get the feeling he wants to break the leader and not the dimension or extension lines. I could be wrong. Quote
lpseifert Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Try Dimbreak with a Multileader Command: _DIMBREAK Select a dimension or [Multiple]: Selected object is not a dimension or multileader. Quote

ReMark Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Erase the line the "broken" multileader crosses and the multileader then "heals" itself. Neat. Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 MLEADERS, DIMBREAK, and DIMSPACE (When I forget to set DIMDLI for baseline dimensioning) make annotating any drawing a breeze. Quote
thanhan1983 Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 Oh, I don't know what to say thanks to you for your help. But I only apply to Multileader. Now, these is a small trouble is how to convert Leader to Multileader. Only that, I can use Dimbreak Command to break the Multileader. Thanks for you ideal. Thanh An Quote
