JohnM Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Autolisp DCL only has modeless forms, but there are ways to hide it and have it re-appear in a blink of an eye with new values. It’s all in how you set up your program. I have explained many times on this site how to do it but most don’t want to change their style of programming. But if your style does not allow you to achieve what you want then you’re stuck. Also you can look at opendcl.com. openDCL has many different forms to use and is a lot more flexable than DCL. And it’s free. There is a bit of a learning curve but they have a great fourm for help and once you get the basics down you will never go back. Quote
bsamc2000 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Modal forms are "locked" as active and will not allow you to select something in the background until you have closed it. Modeless forms will allow you to select objects or dialogs from other parts of the AutoCAD application. I hope this helps. Quote
