Jveilleux Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Wasnt quite sure where to ask this question. I need to configure pan to my mouse. Not to the wheel. I have the mx610 left handed laser mouse. At one point I had it working to where the Button #5 was my real time pan. Due to some ridiculous fiasco within my office Ive had to start from scratch and re-set all my personal settings and I cannot remember how I made it work. Any input would be great. Again, its a Logitech mx610 Lefthander. Using AutoCAD 09. Dont need the Mousewheel zoom. Need to tag it onto one of the side buttons. Quote
Strix Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 have you changed the settings of your MBUTTONPAN? Quote
AlinOz Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 You may have previously set this up in the Logitech Setpoint software. This allows you to set up the relevant button to a command according to the application you're using (i.e set the Plus button to pan in AutoCAD but file save in Excel- probably a poor example, but...). That's what I've done with my MX Revolution... AutoCAD doesn't help you with the which command is mapped to which button. Setpoint at least allows you to visually tell which does what... Too many buttons - not enough hours in the day:oops: Quote
Jveilleux Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 My MBUTTONPAN is set to 1. Pan works fine off the wheel click, Im still trying to figure out how in the world i had it set to a side button before i had to re-install it all. Ending up being a large pain, still trying to make it work, Ive tried setting up under the last option, but pan is'nt one of the functions, and other then that trying a keystroke function. Anyone know how to set pan to work off a shift + X type entry? Quote
