One of the Acad (Mecanical 2008) users in our department is having an unusual occurence. When he uses commands, Move or Copy, his cursor appears to be snapping to grid even though his "snap" is turned off. This snapping is happening prior to making a block selection. It is causing a slowdown in work and frustration! I'm sure its probably a simple setting that I don't know. We receive many layouts from customers with different settings. Any suggestions?

We ended up copying and pasting this layout into a new drawing. This corrected the problem.

This solution is like out IT department's solution for everything - "just re-boot". It doesn't really answer the question, but it does solve the problem!
