MikeP
I understand how to create a hatch pattern. The .pat file is in the support folder in your docs and settings. I understand how to take a file from the internet and install it into cad. But how would I be able to take a drawing and generate the txt code so I can load it into the .pat file??? ReMark
It sounds as though you received a drawing from an outside source that included a custom hatch pattern that you basically want to have access to in the future for your own drawings. Am I on the right track here?

ReMark
There is also a program called Hatchkit. An Internet search will get your started on learning more.
