Tiger Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 A bit of clarification first please. You want to place a lot of Points on specfic coordinates? You have the coordinates listed? Do you have them in an Excel file? Or have you placed a lot of Points and only one is showing? Have you tried zooming in on them, if they are so close together that only one is showing? What if your PDMODE and PDSIZE variables set at? If you Select All (hit ctrl +A) - do you get more than one Point selected? Quote
fuccaro Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hello, welcome in the forum! Possible reasons coming up in my mind: - Maybe the OSNAP is on and all the points snap to the first one - Possible all the points are pasted, just you can't see them because the zoom factor - Did you paste all the coordinates at once? Read here: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=13899 Post again if you ned more help. Good luck! Quote
krishnakumaryadav Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 sir, i. First We are converting data in Excel X,Y, format. 2.open autocad & took command ddptype & fix node & Size. 3.took command point & pest all Coordinates, but there is found only one node. 4. if we are taking pline command & ist base point 0,0 & ii Pest all Coordinates , we are found Complete pline so we are required only nodes of all coordinates. Pl see this matter. thanks kkyadav Quote
krishnakumaryadav Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 I am pasting all the coordinates at once at X,Y Format. K.k.YADAV Quote
eldon Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I think it is the way that the commands Point and Pline use data. Point expects one coordinate at a time, then the command ends. So unless you start Multiple before you start Point, or set up the coordinates with an extra space between sets of numbers, you will only get one Point drawn, as you are finding. Pline, on the other hand, will go on using coordinates until it comes to the end of the data, and so you get the full polyline. Set up the data correctly, and you should be able to get a full set of Points Quote
fuccaro Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Enter MULTIPLE before start the POINT command Quote
krishnakumaryadav Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 I have used your information for multiple command & it served my purpose. Thanking You, K.K.Yadav Quote
