I'm having some trouble with the attached drawing. When I open it everything looks good with the numbered axis aligned horizontaly. However, my crosshair is tilted a few degrees. If I x-ref the drawing instead it comes out the other way around, the drawing becomes tilted and my crosshair looks normal. In any case I need to either rotate the drawing or make myself a new UCS to be able to work with it. Does everyone get this result? Why is it, and can I solve it in some way?

Your UCS is rotated, you'd know that f your UCS icon was on. Use the plan command (or snapang) to get your crosshairs orthogonal.

How can my UCS be rotated when it's fine until I bring this drawing in? And why does opening and x-refing the drawing present the drawing in two different ways?

Try

ucsicon > on

If it is tilted, UCS > W

then use the PLAN command
