Siberian Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I'm having some trouble with the attached drawing. When I open it everything looks good with the numbered axis aligned horizontaly. However, my crosshair is tilted a few degrees. If I x-ref the drawing instead it comes out the other way around, the drawing becomes tilted and my crosshair looks normal. In any case I need to either rotate the drawing or make myself a new UCS to be able to work with it. Does everyone get this result? Why is it, and can I solve it in some way? drawing.dwg Quote
lpseifert Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Your UCS is rotated, you'd know that f your UCS icon was on. Use the plan command (or snapang) to get your crosshairs orthogonal. Quote
Siberian Posted March 26, 2009 Author Posted March 26, 2009 How can my UCS be rotated when it's fine until I bring this drawing in? And why does opening and x-refing the drawing present the drawing in two different ways? Quote
skipsophrenic Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Try ucsicon > on If it is tilted, UCS > W then use the PLAN command Quote
