ajonasson35 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 GAH! I am drawing a partial wall section of some open web steel joists. I need to finish this drawing fast and I have been stuck for hours now! So I am drawing the W-shaped webs of the steel joist section and as far as I know I am supposed to draw the webs at the correct angle (45 degrees) and then fillet them to get the radious of 30mm (Canada!). Now whenever I fillet them they condense into the middle of the joist, and then I can't just move the arcs because then the 45 degree angle messes up. I have probably just been staring at this too long and there is a simple solutions. Any suggestions? Quote
PS_Port Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 A screen shot would help, the webs should be drawn centroidal, and then moved if req'd for fillets. show us what you have. Quote
