I have a drawing where my arrow heads are on one drawing and the tale is on a different layers, so is my dimensions arrows. It usually is on some “bad” layer, I used laytrans with the hope that it will work, but now everything is just on the new layer.

All the text heads and dimension arrows are on that one layer and it is a problem as the building is a multi storey and now all my arrows looks like lines. It does not matter whether I add a new arrow or copy and paste, the head still disappears to that one particular layer and the tale is on the right layer, same goes for the dims. Can someone please help met with this.

Thank you

Martin

I would check the dimstyle settings - you can modify most things there.

Also check the dimstyle settings in the template file (if you are using one), as this will effect newly created drawings.

HI Lee,

Got it sorted thanx, The problem was the "tick" on the dims and the angle leader head. Exploded it and changed the block that is the head to layer 0 and colour by block. Sorted eveything out.

Cheers

Excellent - not sure how much help I was - but glad you got it sorted in the end :)
