When resizing viewports in paper space sometimes, maybe all the time, the viewport is jerky when resizing. It is not smooth graphically and I have to move mouse, wait, see change, move mouse, wait, see change.

Its not super slow but just enough to be irratating. Any ideas why? Is it a graphics card issue?

I am using 2009 LT and running a Dell Precision work station with NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285.

thanks for any help

I'm gonna bump this old one.

I am on AutoCAD 2009 and this happens all the time. Every drawing every viewport.

Has anyone got a fix for this?

Cheers

Set the layermanager palette off. You can use LAYERDLGMODE set to 0 to use the old dialog instead of the modeless style which as you have found out slows the program down.

Cheers for that. I had the layers open on my second screen 100% of the time and now it's perfect.

It this a known bug with 2009?

Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.

It is a known bug, I am not sure it is fixed as I just don't use the modeless layer palette.
