matt4 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Hi, Is there a easy way to check the scale factor of a drawing? Like using properties or such? Thanks Quote
lpseifert Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 You mean the Viewport scale? Just click the viewport's border and it will show in Properties (and right below the drawing screen if you have it toggled on) Quote
matt4 Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 Hi, No, I meant scale factor Can you overscale in autocad? Say I scaled to 0.707 and scaled to 0.707 again would it scale down twice to a new value? Thanks Quote
Lee Mac Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Yes, you can scale objects as many times as you like, for instance, if you scale a 10x10 square by 0.5, it is now a 5x5 square. Scaling this again by 0.5, the result would be a 2.5x2.5 square - the equivalent of scaling the 10x10 by 0.25. 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25. If you mean the scale factor of objects through viewports, then follow Larry's method, as shown above. Quote
