itacad Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Hello, often in the exports of dwg from revit to Autocad, I receive files where equal symbols correspond to blocks with different names and this is certainly linked to the preparation of families etc. on Revit. In your opinion is there a method or procedure to solve this problem directly from AutoCAD or are you (as I believe) eventually forced to replace the symbols one by one if you want to have a single block for each exported symbol? I saw that there is a section dedicated to Revit, but I preferred to post the topic here because I would like to find a solution directly in AutoCAD Thanks in advance for any suggestions Quote
SLW210 Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 AFAIK, you'll need LISP. Maybe... Solved: Re: find and replace group of blocks that are SELECTED - Autodesk Community - AutoCAD There is the BLOCKREPLACE Express Tool as well. Quote
itacad Posted October 17, 2024 Author Posted October 17, 2024 Hello and thank you in the meantime... That's pretty much what I'm already doing so I'll keep going down the right path. Greetings Quote
